It’s a fun game but not one you could just play for half an hour you need to make sure you have a good amount of time set aside for this one as it can be very consuming.Īnno 2070 is very nice to look at with a good soundtrack, the gameplay can be a little difficult to pick up at first but once you get the hang of it it’s a lot of fun. The sound quality and music is also very fitting and adds to the general atmosphere of the game, if you were a fan of sim city you will very much enjoy this game, as the game moves on it becomes more complex also and you will have some morale decisions to make in the world election, do you vote for eco friendly or for the advanced technology? There is some really nice little touches in the detail in Anno 2070 such as being able to zoom in on the islands and see deer running around and as you build your town you also see people and can hear snippets of their conversation.
The graphics are superb and EVE your personal robot is always there to help if you get confused, which it is quite likely you will do so, the game seems a little over complicated at times with so much happening at once, such as trying to build your own community whilst following the orders of the ever demanding Thor Strindberg.
You also must earn your tools for building your city further and use credits to buy materials.
As is implied in the title the year is 2070, you have to help rebuild the infrastructure of the planet, the game flows a lot like sim city but it has some interesting side missions such as protecting cargo ships carrying precious cargo such as oil.
