When the Saiyan prince Vegeta arrived on Earth with his partner Nappa, they landed in the city of Westopolis (The East City on this alternate earth). As for our heroes, their starting paths (All of Dragon Ball/Classic Saga including Sonic Adventure) are relatively the same way as in canon, with neither Goku nor Sonic ever encountering each other or knowing of each other's existence.
Once mobians started appearing, it wasn't easy as they faced discrimination, luckily that died down, and humans and mobians started to co-exist peacefully.
